I wanted to respond to Daisy's comment...Hi all,
I wanted to respond to Daisy's comment, although it took me some time...so I copied and pasted it here:
I am so sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this! Things are a bit hectic around here, but yes, the llamas and sheep love the tasty treats of the Christmas trees. They clean every last needle and even most of the bark off! We then use the trunks for firewood or kindling if they are big enough, if not, they go into the "large compost" pile!
J~Judy Jeutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16226134160013164029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378399147363009190.post-37907129286098488732011-01-08T14:06:44.072-07:002011-01-08T14:06:44.072-07:00Pardon my city girl ignorance. Our rabbits chew on the lowest branches, the ones they can reach. Eventually our tree goes out on a nearby lake to mark "safe" ice fishing zones. Our neighbors belong to a club that collect the trees.Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11647906900944224234noreply@blogger.com
