Rebel with a cause...

I am a Rebel with a cause...and I figured out this morning it is to avoid my emotions at all costs.  Sunday my oldest two sons will graduate from High School and spread their wings and prepare to leave the comfy nest I have made for them.  They both turned 18 last week, and I barely kept it together.  Tonight I have to watch my Baby Girl go through her Continuation ceremony and say goodbye to the elementary years forever.

But at least my house is really clean.  I have had boxes of recycling, and a ton of stuff for Goodwill go out of this place...and it feels so freeing I can't tell you.  I feel like we have been sort of clogged since my whole back thing, and now doing this one big Spring cleaning, or actually pre-graduation party cleaning has been so healthy for my ranch it is unbelievable.  It is almost as if I heard it take an audible sigh!

Now, no guaranteeing where that leaves me Monday morning when the house is all done, the boys are graduated, the kids are out of school and my thoughts are free to roam.....  But for now I can NOT think of a better song to express how I feel about my FOUR children....

Congratulations to your boys!

We've just done a big clean-out too, sending stuff to Goodwill and such, and you're right, it's so freeing!

Hoping you have a great weekend!

Thank you, Kathleen, we sure plan to. And as for the cleaning out; it has been wonderful...even the kids have gotten involved and cleaned out their closets!

Kind regards,
J~

Congratulations! This is a big moment. Stock your pockets with tissues and know that it's okay to let the tears flow.

Yes, thank you Daisy. I do believe my Mom has that area covered though...she has already e-mailed saying she is worried that she will be crying all day long; this is her first Grandchild(ren) as well!
Thanks again,
J~

Your boys must fill really accomplished. Graduating High School is wonderful, and they deserve big high fives. So, here's a high five from me (well that is if people still do high fives).
Hey, I hear you about digging out. We just recently accomplished that in one room of our home and we are working on others. There are things we haven't used and are almost new and we know others could get use out of them. So, we are doing it, but a little slower than I'd like.
